In a world that longs for us to seek out the fairytale endings, along comes a story to open up your subconscious to new possibilities.
In my healing and letting go of looking for Prince Charming to whisk me away on his white horse, I used my writing to make it okay to embrace who I am: an ethically poly solo making choices that work for me.
Today, I give you access to one of the stories that became therapy. I started with Cinderella as I most identified with her. I grew up with a cruel, narcissistic Stepmother and two step-siblings (I called them the Ugly StepSisters, although it was only one stepsister). It was sweet revenge to have the power to change the outcome for Cinderella - Clarissa in my version.
You are welcome to enjoy it as a fun read, but I suggest you use it as I did…for healing
Pour your favourite sipping beverage and gather your inner kid(s) to come and listen as they discover new options.
Read it as many times as required to have it sink in that you do not require anyone to be in your life to be whole, complete or saved. Time to rescue yourself, dear princess (no matter your gender).
This could be the cheapest therapy available. ;)
